Happy Halloween!
I might as well go send in an app for Toddlers and Tiaras because I have gone all stage mom up in here. Tiger's going to be in two dog costume contests (best. idea. ever.) and I (I mean we...) am in it to win it. Tiger's a hot air balloon! Just ignore the fact that it took approximately 35 treats for me to get these pictures.

Seaside
Even though I was feeling like an old broken lady this past weekend I had promised Craig months ago I would pick him up in Seaside after he ran Hood to Coast (it's this miserable endeavor involving running from Mt. Hood to the Oregon coast with a team in legs of a race). So Tiger and I headed out for the beach. We went to Gearhart and laid in the sun for a bit before heading over to Seaside to meet up with Craig and a couple other people. You guys, my dog loves the beach like nobody's business. It's insane.

They Grow Up So Fast
Puppykins goes to daycare during the day now. He loves it and gets so much energy out that he's just a sweet little muffin in the evenings. After he wrestles with Javier for a good half hour that is.
One of my favorite things about his daycare is that they have built in "nanny cams." I can peek in on him while I'm at work and see how he's doing and what he's doing and who he's playing with. Here are some of my spying moments...
He's the tiny one.

The quality isn't great I know but it's the content that matters. And even if it is a little blurry I can definitely tell Little Man is holding his own. I actually have to be careful not to laugh at him while at work because sometimes I check in and all the other dogs are laying down while he bounces around looking for someone to play with.

Best Guy Ever
I'll be honest, the puppy is a lot more fun than the cat. He wants to play and he gets excited to see me and follows me around and has adorable expressions and is so playful then just crashes in my lap. I can take him places and he likes treats and can be accessorized...he's just fun. Cat Face is more of a strong silent type. But Javier is also my first very own pet and so special to me. And I feel so proud of him for being such a good sport in regards to our new addition. Yesterday was Tiger's first day at daycare and it wiped him out. In the evening he was asleep in my lap and Javi was laying next to me sleeping as well and we got to spend a little time together uninterrupted by Crazy Face. Then at bedtime the pets snuggled up together.
