Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails
This lovely little bundle of fur and sweet kisses and snuggles... Has done this. And more. If you look closely you can see where he's actually bruised, as well as scratched, me with his razor sharp puppy teeth.
So this sounds crazy but it works. When he nips you, make a high- pitched noise that signals pain, maybe even a squeal. That is what his litter mates would do, and he should get the idea.
I tried that and he totally thinks it's a game and starts barking at me. It startled him the first few times then lost it's effectiveness. I did read about using a water bottle and spraying his face when he nips. I found a travel size one and am carrying that around today. It's worked pretty well so hopefully this cures his thirst for human flesh.
